Wallisellen is a municipality in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland, just north of the city of Zurich.
The first settlement at Wallisellen dates from 58 BC.
In 1916, the municipality of Rieden merged with Wallisellen.
Shopping Center Glatt is located in the municipality.
Wallisellen is known through the children's verse: "Azelle Bölle schelle, d Chatz gaht uf Walliselle, chunnt sie wieder hei, hät sie chrummi bei...", in English: "..".
