Walla Walla (35°45′S 146°54′E) is a town in Greater Hume Shire Council in New South Wales, Australia. It is about 30 km north of Albury-Wodonga and 130 km south of Wagga Wagga. Walla Walla had a population of 601 people on the night of the Australian Bureau of Statistics 2001 Population and Housing Census. It is the home of the Walla Walla Football Club. It is also the home of St Paul's College, the only Lutheran secondary school in NSW[citation needed]. In summer Walla Walla has an average high of 28°c and a low of 13°c during winter it has a high of 12°c and a low of 2°c[citation needed].

In 1869 Walla Walla was established when German settlers from the Barossa Valley in South Australia were in search for appropriate land to settle on.
