Wall is a town in Pennington County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 818 at the 2000 census.
The town is most famous for Wall Drug Store, which opened as a small pharmacy during the Depression but eventually developed into a large roadside tourist attraction.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 818 people, 349 households, and 212 families residing in the town. The population density was 156.4/km² (404.2/mi²). There were 438 housing units at an average density of 83.7/km² (216.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 91.44% White, 0.24% African American, 6.11% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.49% Pacific Islander, 0.24% from other races, and 1.34% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.73% of the population.
There were 349 households out of which 28.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.3% were married couples living together, 7.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.0% were non-families. 35.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 3.03.
In the town the population was spread out with 25.9% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 20.5% from 25 to 44, 27.5% from 45 to 64, and 18.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 88.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.8 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $36,563, and the median income for a family was $45,417. Males had a median income of $29,286 versus $19,821 for females. The per capita income for the town was $20,848. About 5.8% of families and 8.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 13.4% of those under age 18 and 12.8% of those age 65 or over.
