"Walking After You" is a 1998 single from the soundtrack to the The X Files movie. The Foo Fighters re-recorded the song, which originally appeared on their 1997 album The Colour and the Shape, specifically for the movie's soundtrack. The soundtrack and single version was recorded by the full band, including then-recent additions Taylor Hawkins and Franz Stahl, and included backing vocals from Shudder to Think vocalist Craig Wedren. (The original album version was recorded by Dave Grohl by himself.) The B-side is performed by the band Ween.
