Greg tells Kim what happened and she is just worried about Sam. Kim says maybe Sam didn’t see him. He tells her he was closer than Jimmy. It thunders again and Kim grabs on to Jimmy’s arm instead of Greg’s.

The parents are thinking about taking their kids to a see their first movie. Greg says to make sure Jimmy close by just in case Sam gets scared. Jimmy tells him he has to do things to prove he is the man of the house. Kim comes over and starts wiping a stain off of Greg’s shirt. Jimmy says if he was Sam he would see Greg as sloppy older brother not his father. Greg yells at Kim to stop cleaning him.

The next day they are playing football with some of Jimmy’s friends. Jimmy tells them to be easy on Greg. He scores a touchdown by shoving everyone out of the way. When Greg asks Kim if Sam saw it she says he missed it because he was doing a cute dance. He tells her to make sure he is watching for next time. This time he is tackled numerous times. Their ball gets stuck up in a tree and Greg volunteers to get it out. He climbs the tree, but gets stuck and the fire department has to be called to bring him down. At home Christine says the Dominic enjoyed the fire trucks. Kim tells Greg that the fireman says it happens all the time. Greg tells her he said to pussycats. Christine says she didn’t hear him say cats. Jimmy tells Greg he has a wuss gene and that he has to break the chain.

At the movies, Christine is drunk because she chugged an entire thermos of vodka in the parking lot and there is a couple behind Greg & Kim that are talking loudly. Greg tells them to be quite. The man tells Greg they will settle this after the movie. After the movie, everyone is protecting Greg. The Hughes go to get the car. Just then the man comes out and is about to hit Greg when Greg notices that Sam is ready to eat a candy bar with peanuts. Greg hits the guy and knocks him to the ground and grabs the candy from Sam. They run out when the man starts to get up.
