The Wake Forest Demon Deacons football team is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They are widely considered one of the worst programs in college football. The team has been around since 1888, and missed around 10 seasons. The school also owns the distinction for having the most losses in college football history with 576.

However, the school's enrollment is only about 4,000, and it ranks last in recruiting year-in-and-year-out. The football program has had some highlights, including a 4-2 record in Bowl games, and an 11-2 season in 2006.

The team plays its home games at Groves Stadium, located on-campus at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
