Wainwright No. 61, Alberta

The Municipal District of Wainwright No. 61 is a municipal district in eastern Alberta, Canada.
It is located in Census Division 7. Te seat of the municipality is set in the Town of Wainwright. The district is bisected north-south by the Buffalo Trail and east-west by the the Poundmaker Trail.

The municipal district has a population of 4,231 in 1,364 dwellings, a 4.6% increase from 1996. On a surface of 4,154.60 km² it has a density of 1 inhabitant/km².
