"Wagon Wheel" is a song by Old Crow Medicine Show.

The origin of this song has been more or less unknown since it was released on Old Crow Medicine Show's album, OCMS. The chorus was written by Bob Dylan during the recording of the soundtrack for the film Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid and was never released except on a rare Dylan outtakes bootleg. Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show finished the music and wrote the verses. The official publishing information is Dylan/Secor as agreed to by both Dylan and Old Crow Medicine Show.

The song has also been covered by Against Me! in a faithful acoustic version. There is another version by the Woodwork Roadshow available for free in the Live Music Archive at www.archive.org/

The song has also been covered by Scottish band 'Bodega' in their debut album. This song has also been covered by Sean Michael Golden on his debut album 'Sean Golden Rocks' on track 3.
