Since the magazine has "haute couture appeal," wouldn't it be more appropriate for the main picture of a typical cover to be of a supermodel and not pop tart Britney Spears? 70.52.231.91 22:55, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

This article is a bit vague, to say the least.

"One can credit this with its narrow haute couture appeal"

A slight explanation would be nice to avoid misinterpretations.

The same goes for "self-aware elitism". There need to be some examples of how W is this exactly. Tomsintown 19:09, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
