W. Boulton Dixon

W. Boulton "Bo" Dixon has been the headmaster of McDonogh School since 1992. Before McDonogh, Dixon was the headmaster of the Haverford School in Haverford, PA from 1987 to 1992. Dixon was also the headmaster of the Columbus Academy in Ohio from 1977 to 1987.
Dixon graduated from the Haverford School in 1961. He attended Princeton University, where he earned his A.B. undergraduate degree, and roomed with Bill Bradley. Earned Masters of Education from Temple University.
He announced his plans to help raise 50,000,000 dollars for McDonogh in 2005 which would help for academic scholarships, teachers' salaries, and renovations.
Dixon has announced that the 2006-2007 school year will be his last as headmaster at McDonogh. He plans to retire with his wife Ann, yet still keep in touch with the McDonogh community.
