I have the impression that Kozaczuk

• earned a degree in Polish literature, and (in the 1980s?) a doctorate in history;
• served with the International Control Commission in Vietnam; and
• in his final years, founded a publishing company.

• graduated in philology (Polish ?) in 1956 at Warsaw University
• doctorate (probably in history) in 1978 at Wojskowa Akademia Polityczna (Military Political Academy)
• 1954-1955 in Korea
• 1955-1958 in MSW (Ministry of Internal Affairs or Ministry of Interior, I don't know what was the official English name then)
• 1957-1958 in Vietnam (the bio says "in International Commission for Control and Supervision", but this did not exist then ?))
