Vystrix Nexoth (b. July 23, 1983) is a netizen who, under normal circumstances, doesn't refer to himself in the third person. He considers himself "just another visionary".

I was born on July 23, 1983 in Salem, Oregon. I grew up in Seattle, Washington and, from 1988(?) to 1994, in Highwood and Fort Benton, Montana, then Sheridan, Oregon from 1994 to 2000, then Salem again from 2000 to the present day.
I first got online in August 1996, and have been an avid Internet user ever since. I spend most of my time online, usually surfing the web and/or chatting on IRC, listening to music (chiefly Metal and Video game music), daydreaming/thinking, or just fiddling with stuff.
I have other interests which vary over time, such as website design, drawing, ROM hacking, playing games like Final Fantasy or, when circumstances permit, Quake, and other such things. Currently I'm interested in politics, due in no small part to the election in the United States. I'm currently a registered member of the Pacific Green Party but I intend to change party affiliation to Libertarian. My main votes were for Michael Badnarik for President, and No on Measure 36 (which, unfortunately, passed).

As of this writing (April 17, 2005) I'm 21 years old, male, bisexual, have long brown hair and blue-gray eyes. Politically, I'm Libertarian; Religiously, I'm not. I have no "significant other" and don't plan to have one.

The name "Vystrix Nexoth" (pronounced "VICE-tricks NECK-soth") is an expression in a conlang that has been a hobby of mine for several years. It roughly translates to "knower of nothingness" (as distinct from "knower of nothing")...
- viste - to know. ("VEES-tay")
- vîstrix - knower ("viste" is to "vîstrix" as "act" is to "actor"), usually written "Vystrix" in the Latin alphabet.
- nexos - nothingness (nothingness itself, as opposed to "nexis" which means "nothing" in the sense of "lack of anything")
- nexoth - genitive of "nexos"; means "of nothingness"
The language itself is named Versalean. It currently has a limited vocabulary but a lot of the grammatical structure is in place (but always evolving). It also has its own alphabet, consisting of 32 letters, each with its own name (like in the Greek alphabet), such as "Raía" and "Elaré".
I adopted this screen name on July 23, 2003; prior to that I was known as "zero soul".
