[edit] Language of the name of the article

Viipuri is as much or more used variant of the placename of this castle in pre-Russian contexts as/than Viborg or Wiburg. As primary original author of this article, I choose (and will retain) the variant "Viipuri" as this castle's name. That is mostly because of cultural sensitivity, to recognize that it was in the Finnish-speaking area of the then kingdom of Swedes, Goths and so forth. Suedois 02:45, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
