Vyasarpadi Jeeva

Vyasarpadi Jeeva station is one of the oldest and famous known stations in the Northern part of Chennai. This place acts as the junction between the Central station train route and Beach line train route. Vyasarpadi is the name of the place and Jeeva is the name of a Communist leader Jeevanandam. In memory of his presence in Vyasarpadi the station is named as Jeeva.

A famous Shiva temple which is built in the Cholas period is situated here still in very good condition. The place is easily accessible from various parts of the city with the help of train and bus facilities.

Football is being a total energitic game for the youths here. The famous Don Bosco Beautitudes School acts as a rehabilation cum Youth Association center for the youths around this area. The Don Bosco Matriculation School and its church are famous in chennai. The church has a fascinating Italian Architecture and a lovely place to pray. It is a Roman Catholic church.
