[edit] Bridge

Would you be so kind as to revert Bridge. There is a concerted effort to keep that reference to bittorrent in there and I am at three reverts. Otherwise I will have to ask for partial protection on the page but I think if even one other editor backs me up the vandal will back off. Thanks --Justanother 14:52, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, you are right. Just I take a dimmish view of anonymous (or new) repeated attempts to insert something when the issue is under discussion and consensus may well be forming against. But, you are right, I was hasty there. --Justanother 15:02, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I imagine User:Netslaveone is a sock though and that is probably the term I should have used "suspected sock". --Justanother 15:17, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Care to go again? Thanks --Justanother 15:34, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

I was just looking at that when you "rang". I don't have evidence so I don't think it warrants a report. Perhaps if another sock appears. But if you can get the next one, if there is a next one, that would be great and you will be at three reverts. If it continues I will pursue it. Thanks --Justanother 15:49, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] removing warnings from talk pages

I've repeatedly seen users temporarily blocked (and threatened to be blocked) by admins for removing warnings from talk pages. Nothing "mean" about it. wikipediatrix 15:01, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Linking to homepages with critical information about living persons

The reason why I asked the question at talk:Michael Moore is because I am involved in a dispute at Robert Priddy which deals with the same question i.e. a homepage maintained or authored by the subject of the artile that may violate WP:BLP if linked to. Andries 15:53, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
