Vuosaari metro station

The Vuosaari metro station (Finnish Vuosaaren metroasema / Swedish Metrostationen Nordsjö) is a ground-level station on the eastern branch (Itäkeskus - Vuosaari) of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the district of Vuosaari in East Helsinki, and is the terminus of the eastern line.
The station was opened on 31 August 1998, making it one of the newest stations on the Helsinki Metro. It was designed by the architect bureau Esa Piironen Oy. It is located at a distance of approximately 1.244 kilometres from the Rastila metro station. The terminus at the other end, Ruoholahti metro station, is about 16 kilometres away.
