Voznesensk

Voznesensk (Ukrainian: Вознесенськ) is a city in the Mykolaiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine and a center of Voznesenskyi Raion (district). As of 2001, the city's population is 42,634.
The city was found by Jewish settlements who migrated from northwestern Russia in the first half of the 19th century.
