Why hello there! As you can see, I am Vox Causa (Latin for Voice of Reason). I live in Ormond Beach, Florida, and I am currently attending Mainland High School. I have an avid love for physics, but also enjoy computer gaming, swimming(I am a member of my high school swim team) and Wikipedia. Although I have not turned 18, I am preregistered to vote for the Democratic Party. I am fairly new to this, so don't bite! If you want to tell me something, leave me a note on my talk page, but nothing malicious, because I will probably delete it as vandalism. My current projects are listed below.
Currently I am putting most of my wiki-effort into making this page reasonably good. the problem is, this page is frequently vandalized, by its own students none the less. I am constantly watching it to prevent vandalism, and I am also improving i, little by little, by adding content. By the end of it, I would like this article to reach the "B" rating(right below good), and accurately represent the school. I am ashamed that so many other schools in the county, state, and nation can have a quality article, and Mainland is stuck on vandalizing it Let me get off my soapbox now. If you have anything to contribute, please, you are more than welcome to do so. However, I implore you not to vandalize, as it makes my job all the harder.
I have also decided to take this page under my wing. This school is an intracity rival, and because of certain issues involving a lost football game by our side, Mainland students are frequently vandalizing this page. Also, I feel there page needs major cleanup as the athletic section is more like a sports commentary, which is not what wikipedia is about. Therefore I feel the need to take it and fix it, countering the vandalism, and putting the article back into the factual format with an NPOV.
