Are fictitious chairmen of financial institutions notable enough for the great purge? With 370 google hits, should a minimum bar of "notability" be met before a subject is included in a parent article by way of a merge? --GRider\^talk 18:35, 11 Mar 2005 (UTC)

    • Well, I'm pretty sure that most of the GI Joes and Barbie characters have articles. I might be wrong though. Anyway, with Star Wars, the existence of an action figure is a good way to tell whether the character appears in an actual movie or not. Most of the movie characters get figures, whilst the book, video-game, and RPG characters generally do not. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 03:49, Mar 12, 2005 (UTC)

• merge into Miscellaneous minor characters in Star Wars. I'm not going to do it yet b/c there are a fair few keeps however I fear that while there may be a majority to keep in the end it seems unlikely that the article can be expanded much. Feel free to prove me wrong. I will check back in a few days and if the article isn't expanded or there emerges a consensus to merge then I will do it. -- Lochaber 19:44, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
