Stub article about a non-notable murder victim. RickK 20:39, Jul 18, 2004 (UTC)
- I mourn the loss (really). Info. should be in Robert Chambers, unless there is something particular about this victim. Delete. Geogre 20:53, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- The only Robert Chambers about whom we have an article is a 19th century writer. -- Jmabel 23:51, Jul 18, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete as non notable. If and when we get an article on the murderer Robert Chambers, Rebecca Levin will inevitably get a mention. There are too many murder victims in this world to list, so it can't be the sole criterion for having an encyclopedia article. --Ardonik 00:23, Jul 19, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep (and rename/move — her name wasn't Rebecca, but Jennifer...). I did a stub on Robert Chambers. (And it's a pity, that one seems to have quite a chance to be judged notable for having committed a murder, but not neccessarily as the victim.) --Palapala 10:57, 2004 Jul 20 (UTC)
- Query: I mean this sincerely: If the victim is Jennifer Levin, then there's no need for a move or a keep, is there? I'm not being a smart aleck. Doesn't Jennifer Levin count as a de novo entry -- same with Robert Chambers (criminal case)? Geogre 13:24, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. The name is wrong, for one thing. And though this is unfortunate, I don't think that murder victims are necessarily as notable as their murderers—more often than not, they are not. I actually saw something about Chambers recently on Court TV, and there simply wasn't much to say about the victim—all the media attention and interest was on Chambers himself, his defense, etc. Sad, but true.
