[edit] Monte Vista High School

Non-notable school. If all it has to offer is its address and phone number, it doesn't belong here. RickK 23:40, Sep 21, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. I heard in a position in Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not that Wikipedia is not a place for phone numbers. 66.245.10.194 23:38, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, the article about a real school. Remove the inapropriate info. Mark Richards 19:12, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Removing the "inappropriate" stuff leaves "Monte Vista High School is a public High School located in Danville, CA.". How does this make a meaningful Wikipedia article? RickK 19:38, Sep 24, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete non-notable. RedWolf 04:42, Sep 25, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Might as well keep every article submitted about a real person or real business or real animal or real plant or real rock or real bowling league or real local Shriner's lodge or real local Red Cross chapter or real local YMCA or real police station or real firehall Jallan 17:16, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete - yellow pages entry. What Wikipedia is not and all. -- Cyrius| 06:08, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. BEEFSTEW score 1/10 (item A only).
  • Delete. The article is about a real school that probably affects the lives of thousands of people. I'm all for keeping articles of this kind, but only if they contain a certian amount of interesting information. If someone wants to contribute to this subject, then they would not mind re-creating the article.Raazer 02:11, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. It is indeed a notable school, although you wouldn't know it by reading the official website. In the mid-60s it nationally famous for its innovations. It was the first, or one of the first, high schools without bells; the dress code was extremely permissive; teachers were hired for their intelligence and creativity. Ultimately, the conservatives who dominated the area drove out the district superintendant responsible for it, Richard Foster. First class graduated in 1969. TedC 01:32, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
