[edit] Voss (water)

Considering the fact that the mineral water Voss does not even come from Voss, should it not be in a separate article, possibly with a dis-ambiguation page? (14:11, 4 January 2006 (UTC))

Not only does Voss water NOT come from Voss proper, it does NOT come from the area around the city of Voss. Instead, it's from a tiny place a full day's drive away in southern Norway. The immediate spot of the Voss water well has been named "Voss". My geologist cousin points out that the wellsite is surrounded by feldspar, which doesn't leach minerals into the water. Also, there are no people or animals or crops nearby that might affect the pure quality of the water. Great stuff! In 2005, the city of Voss began bottling its own water for nonprofit organization purposes....but it has a name different from simply "Voss".
I've removed the 'Brand of water' section. According to the label, and other documentation, it is bottled in Vatnestrøm, not Voss. Also that section described it as mineral water, while it is labeled as artesian water (Bottled water#U.S. FDA "Standards of Identity" for Bottled Water). On the other hand, the Voss (water) page needs a lot more help than I feel qualified to give it. --Diggernet 05:53, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
