Vortex at Paramount's Kings Island is a steel roller coaster built by Arrow Dynamics and officially opened on April 11, 1987. When it opened, it held the record for most inversions (6). It is located on the site formerly occupied by The Bat, and reused The Bat's building for embarking and disembarking.
