The Volume Logic plug-in was released by Octiv, inc. in 2004 as a plug-in for iTunes for Mac and Windows. This was the first plug-in for Apple's iTunes. Lately the Octiv corporation was acquired by Plantronics, a provider of Bluetooth hardware, headphones and etc. Lately Volume Logic was available for multiple media players like RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, Winamp and Musicmatch.

The current version of Volume Logic does not work with iTunes 7.0. The warnings for this are on the front page of the web site.

This feature is expecially useful for the RealPlayer users, because the RealPlayer uses the system wave volume. Volume Logic disables RealPlayer's volume control and uses its own.

  • Drive
  • Bass Boost
  • Spectrum Analyzer

Does not Work with ITunes 7.0 or later!
