Voltimum is a web portal created in September 2000 by ABB, Legrand, Nexans, Osram, Philips, Pirelli and Schneider Electric, as a European portal for the electrical installation industry.

Technically, Voltimum now operates 7 country portal sites.

Voltimum is based on LAMP technology.

The company is based in Meyrin, Switzerland, from where all central and technical functions are managed, with country offices in Barcelona, Heidelberg, London, Milan, Stockholm and Versailles. Voltimum is now planning to expand its activities to Ireland.
