Voltaire is a station of the Paris Métro, named after the Rue Voltaire. François-Marie Arouet (21 November 169430 May 1778), better known by the pen name Voltaire, was a French Enlightenment writer, essayist, deist and philosopher.

The station is located in the Place Léon Blum (formerly called Place Voltaire), which is also the location of the town hall of the 11th arrondissement, which serves a lively district.
