Volta Do Mar (band)

Volta Do Mar is a math rock band from Chicago, Illinois formed in 1999. They are often noted for their seemingly incessant touring; in support of their first full-length album, At the Speed of Light or Day, they toured the U.S. and Canada twice. Comparisons are often made to Don Caballero, Hella, Faraquet and Tortoise, as well as many others. Volta Do Mar is currently signed to Arborvitae Records.
