Volchansk (Russian: Волчанск) is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Volchanka River (right tributary of the Sosva, Ob's basin), 452 km north of Yekaterinburg. Population: 11,043 (2002 Census); 14,814 (1989 Census).

Town status since 1956.
