Volcanic field

A volcanic field is a spot of the earth's crust that is prone to localized volcanic activity. Examples include the San Francisco volcanic field in Arizona the Auckland volcanic field in New Zealand and the Desolation Lava Field in British Columbia, Canada. One type is the monogenetic volcanic field.
