Volano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 15 km south of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,851 and an area of 10.8 km2.[1]
Volano borders the following municipalities: Calliano, Pomarolo, Nomi, and Rovereto.
