[edit] Oh look, I'm tagging images. What a surprise!
I need a source on Image:Biohazard.jpg. According to Wikipedia rules, you have seven days to provide it. —User:ACupOfCoffee@ HRWiki:User:ACupOfCoffee@ 05:51, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- You could just use images that are on Wikipedia already, it would simplify matters a bit... Phlip 12:05, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- I think it counts as public domain. Check this history of the symbol. I think it's pretty interseting. I'm-a-go remove that delete tag now. —User:ACupOfCoffee@ 06:15, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Booyakasha! Saved! --VolatileChemical 03:32, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Civility
Hi. Civility is not optional, and in edit summaries it can be especially damaging. For one, they cannot be refactored - you can't later go back and tone it down when you cool down. They also tend to make people respond in edit summaries, and this often spirals into blocks all around. Next time, perhaps put an edit summary like "please see talk prior to reverting". If nothing else, by being extra nice to people with whom you disagree gives you the moral high ground. Thanks,

Be extra nice? Folow civility? Um, okay...see the top of this very page. He called me a dumbass. He called me a dumbass because I quoted the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He suggested I examine Set Theory because I made a simple joke! Yeah, that's very civil. Oh, and quit hogging memory on my talk page with your humungous username formatting. P.S. Thanks for saying hi, though. Usually, my talk page cohorts begin their messages with something like "Image:Whatever.jpg has unspecified copyright information. In accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy, you have seven days to provide the correct information, or else the image will be deleted." Hi is a refreshing change. P.P.S. Blocks all around? NOOOO! No more blocks, for the love of anyone a person could possibly love! I've had enough of that stuff! --VolatileChemical 05:29, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- Bah. *slaps his own face* I've just seen enough venom spit around anarchism that I was trying to make a gentle reminder, and didn't mean the block thing like it sounded. It was more in the spirit of "It's easy to get pulled down to someone else's level, so be good." (Extra simple sig pasted in by hand) - User:Aaron Brenneman

- There. That's more like it. Sounds less demanding, yet still a tad condescending...oh, well, doesn't matter. Sincerely, VolatileChemical, on the first minute of the twenty-first hour of the second day of the fourth week of the second month of the sixth year of the first century of the second millenium of the Anno Domini system as according to the Gregorian calendar system.
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Bruno.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Bruno.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see User talk:Carnildo/images. 11:36, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Wow, I actually got around to tagging one of these images. Okay, I've added a tag and specified the copyright holder, so that's all well and good. --VolatileChemical 00:48, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Decline 3.png)
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Decline 3.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 15:09, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
There. I've added it to Decline of Video Gaming. It's not orphaned anymore. --VolatileChemical 22:08, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Sbemail32.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Sbemail32.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
I couldn't find the image on the homestar Wiki. You need to apply the {{NoRightsReserved}} or {{GFDL}} tag to the image, fair use images aren't supposed to be on user pages. I Think....
