Vogel State Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vogel State Park is a 233 acre (0.93 km2) state park located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest. It became one of the first two parks in the State of Georgia when it founded a state park system in 1931 (Indian Springs State Park was the other). The land for Vogel was donated to the state. The park features hiking trails, a scenic waterfall, and picturesque Lake Trahlyta.
