Vladimir Shumeiko

Vladimir Filippovich Shumeiko (Russian: Владимир Филиппович Шумейко) (b. 1945) is a Russian political figure.
In November of 1991, Vladimir Shumeiko was appointed chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation. In June of 1992, he became a first deputy prime minister of the Russian government. Vladimir Shumeiko held the post of the chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia between January of 1994 and January of 1996.
