Vladimir Roslik

Vladimir Roslik (c. 1930 – c. 1976) was a doctor and a member of the Uruguayan Communist Party during the rule of Uruguayan military dictator Juan Maria Bordaberry.
The Uruguayan National Police asserted that he was a homosexual and child molester in an attempt to discredit him. They ultimately tortured and assassinated him.
Roslik was born and died in San Javier, Río Negro. Several monuments to him stand in his hometown.
