VL Mike
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
VL Mike is one of the rawest rappers out of New Orleans... He has been compared to Soulja Slim constantly... "I was never offended by the comparison because me and Slim come from the same streets, we cut from the same cloth... you know, all together I done did 6 years and came home with my mind focused on money and music & taking care of my kids... I try my best to leave that life in the past and concentrate on a building a successful future in this business" Signed to Chopper City Records under CEO B.G. AKA B. Gizzle in 2005, VL Mike can be heard on numerous tracks on B.G.'s latest release The Heart of Tha Streetz, Vol 2. He gives it to you rough, rugged, and raw on the Coe produced song entitled "Bout Mine". VL also shines on yet another track with B.G. and Webbie produced by Mouse entitled "I Aint No Bitch". He can also be heard on the new mixtape from the Czar Squad DJ's feat The Game "Lock & Load". VL's manager Ron Byrd of Platinum Management is working on his current album which could possibly be release under Black Wall Street, but his loyalty to B.G. and the Chopper City family remains unchanged.
