Vlčnov is a village located in Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. This region is in south-eastern part of Moravia close to the border with Slovakia.

Population of the village slightly overlaps three tousand inhabitans (3020 as per 1.1.2005). Village is known throughout the Czech Republic for it's traditional folklore festival The Ride of the Kings (Jízda králů in Czech) held every year at the end of May. The festival is known also beyond the borders of the Czech Rep. for its traditional costumes and folklore music.

Nearest town is Uherský Brod. This town provides higher education and lot of residents commute to work there.

According to preserved historical documents first records of village named Vlčnov date back to 1264. Nevertheless according to experts and archeological research was the area of the village inhabited much earlier.
