Other sites mention that Zholobov became psychotic during the Soyuz 21 mission.

The problem has happened on other scientific expeditions.

During the Belgian Polar Expedition of 1898/99 eighteen men began to go insane when the Belgica was trapped in polar ice for months.

The Belgica was a converted whaler and used a single-room arrangement for the scientists to live and work.

A problem was discovered with human physiology in the 1960's when knowledge workers began having mental breaks while using the first close-spaced office workstations. The cubicle solved that problem by 1968.

The single-room arrangement allows occupants to create the special circumstances that caused the 1960's discovery.

When astronauts are in a small space station cabins they have duties that parallel knowledge work but do not have Cubicle Level Protection.

The Soyuz 21 is the first case of a mental break in orbit.
