Vista is a village in St. Clair County, Missouri, United States. The population was 55 at the 2000 census.

Vista is located at 37°59′20″N, 93°39′51″W (37.988824, -93.664037)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 55 people, 20 households, and 18 families residing in the village. The population density was 163.4/km² (419.4/mi²). There were 24 housing units at an average density of 71.3/km² (183.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 92.73% White, 1.82% Native American, and 5.45% from two or more races.

There were 20 households out of which 45.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.0% were married couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 10.0% were non-families. 10.0% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.75 and the average family size was 2.89.

In the village the population was spread out with 34.5% under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 18.2% from 45 to 64, and 10.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 71.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.5 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $30,000, and the median income for a family was $30,000. Males had a median income of $20,833 versus $17,500 for females. The per capita income for the village was $12,068. There were 22.2% of families and 15.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including 12.5% of under eighteens and 30.0% of those over 64.
