Visnes

Visnes is a small place on the westcoast of Norway, on the island Karmøy. Visnes is also very close to Haugesund. It was in Visnes that the copper vein that provided material for the Statue of Liberty was found. The copper mine, which closed in 1972, has its own museum [1].
