The Virginia Robinson Gardens (6 acres) are botanical gardens located at 1008 Elden Way, Beverly Hills, California. The gardens are operated by the County of Los Angeles and open to the public at somewhat restricted times; an admission fee is charged.
The main residence is a handsome Mediterranean Classic Revival home completed in 1911, and described as the first residence in Beverly Hills. Its grounds include five distinctive gardens:
- Italian Terrace Garden, with brilliant views of specimen trees and citrus terraces. Planted under large magnolia trees are a variety of camellias, gardenias, clivias, and azaleas.
- Formal Mall Garden, with flower borders and rare specimen cycads planted in the lawn.
- Rose Garden, with roses.
- Kitchen Garden, with vegetables and herb garden.
- Tropical Palm Garden, including an Australian king palm collection that is said to be the largest in the continental United States. It also contains gingers, bananas, and plumeria.
