Virgil Frye

Virgil Frye is an American actor.
Frye grew up in Estherville Iowa. He was a Golden Gloves boxing champion.
He has two children, Sean Frye, and Soleil Moon Frye and is the father-in-law of Jason Goldberg.
It is commonly believed that Frye suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, when in fact Frye suffers from Pick's disease (otherwise known as frontotemporal lobar degeneration or "FTLD"). He was the subject of a documentary made by his daughter, titled Sonny Boy, which documents a trip that Frye and his daughter took to his hometown, and the effect his illness has had on their relationship.
