VIR0S is an International hacker group that works to bring skilled programmers from around the world together to create new and useful software and scripts. The team consists of a large and varied group of skills. The main goal of VIR0S is to allow both, highly-skilled and people new to programming to work together to learn and make software.

VIR0S was a concept that came into the mind of computer enthusiast and programmer VIR3NT (Anthony Janacek) in the year 2000.
The handle of 'VIR3NT' was created and has been used since 2004. Previous names include phiberoptix, ellusionistic1 and crypticex0dus
Perusing the internet, VIR3NT frequently could be found interacting on underground IRC channels gathering members for VIR0S.

- Project VIROGEN was started in 2006 and is an effort to simplify the use and distribution of Peer to Peer software.

- Xtagon Chatbot - Created by programmer, also named Xtagon. This advanced chat robot runs on the A.L.I.C.E. AI framework and is capable of advanced learning.

VIR0S is still active and growing. The team's projects continue to grow and develop as well as new programs being made continuously.
