Talk:Virtual series
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Major cut
I removed an important piece of the article for several reasons. First, it is completely unsourced which gives the impression that there are neutral point of view conflicts. Lines like Two of the most used universes in the virtual world..., Monster Zero Productions, one of the largest..., The Quadrant has a great collection of talented writers, This series pioneered the way for other series such as Destiny and Genesis., etc. The article was also a big advertisement for several different urls, especially the external link section, which descriptions like A virtual series network filled to the brim with different Virtual Series and Continuations!, Online Virtual Network - A website with some of the most anticipated virtual series!, etc.
So, before reintroducing all that content, rewrite those sections so that it is useful for casual readers and not only a way to show how popular, good or wonderful every item is. -- ReyBrujo 20:43, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Restored Major Cut
I restored the removed part of the article but rewrote it considerably to neutralize the opinions and simply provide infomrmation. Since Virtual Series are a primarily online phenomenon, finding sources outside of the networks or sites themselves would be very difficult. I did remove all of the self-gratifying statements placed (undoubtedly) by the series' creators. I will continue to rework this one so it is useful to the casual reader being properly Wikified, providing examples without being advertisements, and finding sources that might help to more fully describe and validate the VS phenom.
