[edit] Failed GA

I have reviewed the good article nomination for this article. I am failing it for not meeting the criteria of good articles.

The concerns I have deal with the 1st criteria that the GA should be well-written. My concern is that it does not meet point c of that criteria:

(c) it follows the Wikipedia Manual of Style including the list guideline.

There is a lot of wikilinked terms in there and a lot of them are red. Please consider removing some of the excessive wikifying found in the article. Also, links only need to be wikified once in an article. Stony Ridge, for example, is wikified (and a redlink) twice in the same sentence. Mouth of Wilson is wikified 3 times and exists in the article at 2 other times without being wikified.

My other concern goes with the 2nd GA criteria of verifiability and factually accurate. I have no doubt that this is accurate, my concern is with the actual citation for the article. Some of the links that are used as reference appear for a few different citations. It would be more appropriate to use a <ref name="WHATEVER" /> for these instances. Then you can tag any subsuquent occurances of the same reference with just that reference name and it will show up appropriately in the references list. See WP:CITE for more information on that.

Those are just some of the concerns. Good luck in improving this article. Metros232 19:35, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
