VIP Radio is a UK based International Radio Station which broadcasts to Western Europe by Satellite and Worldwide via the internet. VIP commenced broadcasts on St Valentine's Day 2006. Its headquarters are in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. Its music format of 'Soulful Optimism' features Motown, Soul music, Disco, Philadelphia soul and related genres from 1964 onwards. VIP's roster of highly-experienced announcers includes Dick Heatherton, John Hook, Bobby Jay, Kev Roberts, Bob Shannon and Andy Wint.
