Vines High School is a secondary school serving grades nine and ten. It is part of the Plano Independent School District, which uses an unconventional high school system in which students in grades nine and ten attend one of five high schools. Students in grades eleven and twelve attend senior high schools. Vines High School feeds into Plano Senior High School along with students from Jasper High School.

Vines High School maintains a population of over 1,200. The school's current principal is Roxanne Burleson.
