From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vince DiCola is a composer, best known for his work on Transformers: The Movie and Rocky IV.

Dicola was nominated for both a Grammy and Golden Globe for co-writing the soundtrack of the movie Staying Alive.

Vince also pioneered the use of sequencers on his soundtrack to Rocky IV, being one of the first to exploit the Fairlight CMI computer sequencing capabilities.

One CD of demos and rarities The Protoform Sessions, one of the full score of the movie Till All Are One and a last of solo piano renditions of songs from the soundtrack Artistic Transformations.

An interview with DiCola is included on the Region 1 release of Transformers: The Movie on DVD.
