Vinay Gobindlal was born in Durban, South Africa on December 24th 1982. He graduated Auckland University of Technology with a BA in Social Science and in now currently completing a certificate in Postgraduate studies in Research and Analysis.

He is currently the co-founder and vice president of the largest club in the history of the university that he attends. The Keepin' It Real Club.
