Note that this is not the same Vincent Lam previously discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vincent Lam. That article pertained to an Australian soccer player of uncertain notability; this one is a Canadian writer who's currently a nominee for arguably the most important Canadian literary award.
