Vilno programming language
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vilno is a statistical programming language developed 2001-2006 by Robert Wilkins. It was developed in Lublin, Vilnius, Wroclaw, Cardiff, Riga, and Chicago. Vilno has a full set of data crunching functionality ( used to prepare and clean data for analysis ) , with the exception of a library of math and date/time functions. The current version does not yet have a library of statistical tests ( ANOVA, regression, t-test, etc. ). When integrated with a library of statistical functions, Vilno will be comparable to the older SAS and SPSS programming languages. Currently, Vilno can be used to clean up and reorganize data prior to doing statistical analyses with S-Plus or R.
The current version of Vilno is version 0.85.
